HomeFlow Legal & Trust
Terms of Service
These draft terms describe the current rules and limitations for using HomeFlow. Unresolved commercial provisions are reserved for counsel and business review.
Pre-Launch Draft — Pending Legal Review
1. Acceptance and draft status
These Terms are a pre-launch draft for review. The current signup flow asks a user to accept the Terms and Privacy Policy, but this document is not presented as a finalized commercially effective version and has no assigned effective date.
2. Eligibility and accounts
HomeFlow’s current product position is that the service is intended for adults age 18 and older, subject to legal review. You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting your password and email account, and activity performed through your credentials. Contact support@homeflow247.com if you suspect unauthorized account access.
3. Permitted use
Use HomeFlow for lawful personal home-organization purposes. Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, upload malicious code, probe security controls without authorization, impersonate another person, or use the service to violate another person’s rights.
4. Your records, documents, and uploads
You remain responsible for the accuracy and legality of home information, notes, photos, documents, receipts, manuals, and other files you add. You must have the right to store that content and should not upload unlawful, harmful, malicious, or infringing material.
HomeFlow processes and stores user content as needed to operate the features requested by the user. Final content-license language remains reserved for legal review.
5. HomeFlow intellectual property
HomeFlow, its product names, visual identity, software, and original content are owned by or licensed to HomeFlow LLC. These draft Terms do not transfer ownership of HomeFlow intellectual property.
6. Availability and changes
HomeFlow may change, suspend, or discontinue features as the pre-launch service develops. Availability, synchronization, reminders, notifications, and storage may be interrupted, delayed, incomplete, or unsuccessful. Maintain independent copies of records you cannot afford to lose; HomeFlow does not currently promise a particular backup or recovery service level.
7. Suspension and termination
HomeFlow may restrict access to protect users, infrastructure, legal rights, or service integrity, or in response to serious misuse. Final notice, appeal, suspension, and termination provisions require counsel and business approval.
A signed-in user can initiate the verified account-deletion workflow from the application. Completed account deletion is irreversible and terminates access to the deleted account.
8. Informational and organizational limitations
HomeFlow is an organizational recordkeeping tool. Home Health scores and recommendations, Home Passport completeness and intelligence, Maintenance schedules, reminders, and Home Budget summaries are based on available user records. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated.
HomeFlow is not a professional home inspection, engineering, construction, appraisal, insurance, lending, tax, legal, emergency, or financial-advisory service. Do not use it as the sole basis for safety, repair, financial, insurance, legal, or emergency decisions. Consult an appropriate qualified professional when needed.
9. Record accuracy and reminders
You are responsible for reviewing your records and confirming dates, costs, warranties, documents, maintenance needs, and other property information. A missing, delayed, or inaccurate reminder does not replace manufacturer guidance, professional advice, or your own inspection of the home.
10. Third-party services
HomeFlow relies on third-party infrastructure, including Supabase-supported authentication, database, and file storage. Provider availability and terms may affect the service. This draft does not invent warranties or obligations for third-party services.
11. Privacy and deletion
The Privacy Policy draft describes current information handling. The Account Deletion page explains the real in-app workflow and its limits. Deletion cannot remove original files that remain elsewhere on a user’s device and may not immediately remove provider backups, service logs, or records that must be retained where legally required.
12. Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and using a device and email account you trust. Report suspected vulnerabilities to security@homeflow247.com. See the Security page for verified protections and reporting guidance.
13. Counsel-review placeholders
Warranty disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, governing law, venue, dispute procedures, arbitration, class-action treatment, notices, and the process for material Terms changes are not finalized. No such provision is imposed by this draft. Those terms require explicit legal and business approval before commercial use.
